Freddie Hunt Joins Car & Country

Freddie Hunt, professional racing driver and son of 1976 Formula One World Champion James Hunt, has joined the presenting team for the adventure travel and car series Car & Country - Rush. He will co-present alongside current presenters Deepak Narendran and Ashique Thahir for episode 7, set in Scotland during winter, which is available from today.

To coincide with Freddie Hunt joining the team, the series has been renamed from Car & Country to Car & Country - Rush.

Car & Country - Rush, available on Amazon Prime Video as part of the Prime Video Direct Content Submission Portal, has a unique format focusing on discovering the sights, sounds and culture of travel destinations all over the world. Every episode features its presenters driving stunning cars as they journey from one extraordinary location to another.

Freddie’s adventure starts in the Scottish Highlands, as he becomes part of the intrepid trio, and experiences the unpredictable and harsh Scottish winter from climbing in the wilderness of the cairngorms to white water rafting on the Findhorn during a snowstorm.

To navigate the snow, mud, craggy hills and the challenges of the brutal off-road conditions abundant in the Highlands, the team employ the legendary original Land Rover Defender and its descendent the all-new Defender.

“I’m so pleased to be a presenter on Car and Country. Before I was contacted about it I didn’t know much about the series but as I learned more I got really excited. It’s such a cool series. We’ve shot one episode so far, in Scotland, which apart from the cold was a week of lots of fun. I can’t wait for the next episode!” - Freddie Hunt

“Having Freddie in the show adds a whole new element to Car and Country. We can’t wait for people to see our Scottish trip now it’s available,” added Deepak.

If you want to discover the Highlands from behind the wheel of two of the most iconic off-road vehicles ever built, join Freddie, Deepak and Ashique on an travel adventure you won’t want to miss.
